A broad set of different RES & RUE technologies exist today. Obviously, for a comprehensive analysis of the promotion schemes within a region it is of crucial importance to provide a detailed data regarding potential and costs of these technologies. Of course, for applying Invert Simulation Tool to a certain region very specific investigations have to be carried out. This database aims at giving a sound basis for this specific data input and for further investigations which are necessary for carrying out simulation runs. This part contains general data about RES and RUE in EU countries. A focus is laid on costs and potentials because this is regarded as one of the core data requirements for the Invert Simulation Tool.
